Manufacturing

From hide to horizon — ten stages of care.

A structured, documented process behind every product — the same discipline whether we're producing a sample or a bulk order.

01

Leather Selection

Hides are sourced from trusted tanneries and inspected for grain, temper, thickness and consistency before entering the workshop.

02

Pattern Making

Patterns are drafted and refined to buyer specification, ensuring correct fit, function and repeatability across production runs.

03

Cutting

Skilled cutters lay each pattern with attention to grain direction and defect avoidance, minimising waste while protecting quality.

04

Hand Stitching

High-stress joints are hand-stitched in traditional saddler's technique using waxed thread for strength that lasts a lifetime.

05

Machine Stitching

Straight seams and long runs are stitched on industrial machines with matched thread tension and stitch pitch for a uniform finish.

06

Edge Finishing

Every edge is skived, painted, sealed and burnished by hand — a small step that sets premium work apart from ordinary.

07

Polishing

Leather is conditioned and polished; hardware is buffed and checked so every piece leaves the bench looking finished.

08

Quality Control

Each item is inspected against a documented checklist covering stitching, hardware, dimensions and finish before it passes.

09

Packaging

Products are individually wrapped and boxed to retail or bulk specification with buyer branding where required.

10

Export Preparation

Documentation, palletising and freight coordination are handled in-house — sea and air, worldwide.

Quality Assurance

A documented checklist behind every shipment.

Our internal QC teams inspect stitching, hardware, dimensions and finish against a written specification — with a documented sign-off before packaging.
